After forming only ten months ago Johnny Madcap and The Distractions have blazed a trail across the current Rock 'n' Roll scene. They have shared the stage with legendary acts like The Missing Persons, Youth Brigade, Duane Peters, Eddie and The Hotrods and The Vibrators. The band has already recorded over 20 songs with half of them recorded live in the studio on analog tape keeping the spirit of the music they grew up on alive. This is no gang of burnout's going through the motions, but a tight professional band driven by Johnny Madcap's strong songwriting sense. Influenced by the sounds of the 60's and the drive of the new wave 80's scene the band has produced a sound that is all their own. An edgy sound you can dance to, which is exactly what you get at one of their shows. Raw energy and the sound of feet tapping on the floor. Johnny, Justin, Jan and Teddy are the four hearts that drive this machine and soon the world will know that being Distraced is a good thing.....
