Originally from Boston, Diva Avari's career began, in the nightclubs of the famous Lansdowne Street,as a go-go dancer (1990-94).
During one of her shows at Venus Demilo......an upcoming local designer, mesmerized by her performance, immediately invited her to be in his first fashion show in Paris.
Working with him as asst. designer and runway model (1992-95) permitted Avari to travel to Europe .
In 1996, she ended her collaboration with the designer and decided to take her chances alone in Paris "the capital of fashion". Once there, music her first passion caught up with her and she worked as a singer/dancer at Palace for David and Cathy Guetta and went on to become the first foreigner to be named "Queen" of the Queen nightclub.
Finally in '97, she recorded her first single "Lady Marmelade", a dance cover of the original Patti Labelle song. Ever since, her name has been linked to various record companies; such as BMG, Club News, and Airplay/ Universal.
Between the summer of 99 and winter 2001, she did a national tour of France representing Lucky Strike cigarettes after which her real career in music began.
She spent her time working on solo projects and as well as collaborations with the jazzy-house group SUBLIM VICTIM and featurings with STARTING ROCK with whom she made the hits "Don’t Go" No.1 on the club charts (2006) and “Movin On” No.2 in the clubs (2007).

She is currently preparing her first album; a very modern album that is a mix of Diva's house roots and her jazzier side. Several tracks are already finished and will soon debut ....

Originaire de Boston, Diva Avari a commencé sa carrière dans les discothèques de la fameuse Lansdowne Street, en tant que go go danseuse. (1990-94)
Pendant une de ses prestations au VENUS DEMILO, un styliste américain ébloui par sa performance, lui propose de défiler à Paris. Et c’est en tant que mannequin et assistante styliste qu’elle arrive en Europe (92-95).
En 1996, elle arrête sa collaboration avec le styliste et décide de tenter ses chances dans la capitale de la mode : Paris, mais très vite la musique, sa première passion la rattrape et elle travaille comme chanteuse au Palace pour David et Cathy Guetta, par la suite elle devient la première étrangère nommée reine du Queen.
C’est finalement en ’97 qu’elle enregistre son premier titre LADY MARMELADE, une reprise dance de la chanson de Patti Labelle. Depuis ce moment, son nom est lié à des maison de disques variées comme BMG, Club News, et Airplay/Universal.
Au cours de l'Eté 1999 et l' Hiver 2001, elle fait une tournée sur toute la France pour la marque de cigarettes Lucky Strike et sa carrière est lancée.
Diva Avari travaille sur ses projets solos et collabore également avec le groupe de jazzy house SUBLIM VICTIM, ses featurings avec STARTING ROCK donne les tubes dance « Don’t Go » N°1 des clubs (2006) et “Movin On”N°2 des clubs (2007).

Aujourd'hui, elle travaille sur la préparation de son premier album, un mélange entre Diva House et Diva Jazz, un album très moderne, quelques titres sont déja prêts et bientôt sur les ondes...
