    ............ Divaricate was started by Paul Avila and Melvin Cedillo in the summer of 2004. Soon after writing began, they were joined by Anthony Peer on bass and Sam Townsley from Parasitic on vocals. .. .. During the summer of 2005, new material was written and rehearsed and a handful of shows were played in the San Diego. The band went on a brief hiatus when Melvin decided to leave and pursue other interests. On the heels of his exit, Alex Lopez tried out and filled the vacancy left by Melvin. A short time later, Anthony left with different musical ideas in mind. .. .. Recently Divaricate has added Ryan Reidy on bass and Aaron Clarke on guitar. Now with the new additions to the band we have all been working intensively on new material that pushes the limits of technicality, speed, and aggression. .. .. ........ .. .......... .... .. ........ .. .. ....
