About me:

Photobucket

I'm the Diva Writer, or as some of you know me, Marissa Monteilh (Mon-tay). SOMETHING HE CAN FEEL was released last year, and is prompting many female readers to re-examine their own relationship anger issues. In fact, SOMETHING HE CAN FEEL received a Top Shelf review on Urban-Reviews.com.

SOMETHING HE CAN FEEL tackles the topic of abusive wives and it was indeed my most challenging work to date. Kensington Books released the mass-market version of MAKE ME HOT, which was an African American Literary Award nominee, so please check that out.

EROTIC CITY, my first title under my pen name, Pynk, was released on November 14, 2008 by Grand Central Publishing. EROTIC CITY received a Top Shelf review on Urban-reviews.com, and was voted one of the Best Reads for 2008 by BlackExpressions.com. I just finished my 2nd Pynk title called SEXAHOLICS, which comes out on November 16, 2009. It is about four sexually addicted women in Los Angeles. The continuation of HOT BOYZ, called THE HOUSEWIVES OF LADERA, drops next year. And the updated paperback version of THE CHOCOLATE SHIP is set for September 2009, to coincide with the Blacks Over 40, Mexican Riviera cruise out of Los Angeles. More news on that shortly. My first ebook, AS FATE WOULD HAVE IT, an inspirational love story about a woman who has cancer, was released in May of 2009 - you can download it at www.innervisionbooks.com for only $5. I'll have more Pynk updates shortly and news on a much needed non-fiction title regarding the DL!

To read a synopsis of any of my titles, feel free to visit my website at http://www.marissamonteilh.com/

I'd love to hear from you if you've had a chance to read my books or if you have any questions. If I'm a little delayed in my reply, I will get back to you as soon as I can. Promise!

I love you one and all!

..

Who I'd like to meet:

George Foreman (a real-deal MAN), Oprah Winfrey, Dr. Maya Angelou . . . and oh yeah, Fred Williamson and . . . THE ROCK (I smell what he's cookin')
