Divide, a melodic 4 piece hailing from Huddersfield, UK, formed in 2001 and comprises of Andrew Carroll (Vocals & Synths), Steve Alday (Guitars), Matthew Dryden (Bass Guitar) and Paul Thompson (Drums & Backing Vocals).
Gaining rave reviews in national press and radio and through an extensive touring schedule Divide recorded their debut album, Now is Tomorrow, at Outhouse Studios in Reading, UK, with legendary producer John Mitchell (Enter Shikari, Funeral For A Friend).
In delicately blending intricate rhythm sections, chainsaw guitars and soaring vocal harmonies, divide firmly place themselves at the foundations of a sound that metaphorically stamps on your face whilst kissing your cheek. Divide are a band that steadfastly defy genre pigeon holes time after time, demonstrating an extensive and widespread appeal whilst sacrificing absolutely no integrity.
Divide's finely tuned and frenetic live set comes from experience gained supporting acts on tour such as Hell Is For Heroes, Breed 77, Boy Hits Car, Johnny Truant and Hondo Maclean to name a few.
