“We accept her! We accept her! One of us! One of us! Gooble gobble, gooble gobble! One of us! One of us!"… così cantavano i Freaks di Tod Browing e così mi sono sentita parte di loro dalla prima volta in cui vidi il film, 22 anni fa.
Sono un'illustratrice, cantante e multipla, nel vero senso della parola, in me convivono diverse personalità, tra cui La Divina.
Da sempre amo cio’ che mi trafigge il cuore, cio’ che inquieta e disturba, che nasconde una poetica, cio' che sento simile a me.
Le mie illustrazioni sono parti di me, i miei freaks , le mie puttane, i miei ragazzini brufolosi sono tutti figli miei, tutti con una storia, diversi ma non per questo cattivi o cattivi perché costretti ad esserlo.
Questa sono io: un cuore trafitto, piu’ o meno sacro, piu’ o meno sanguinolento.-------

I'm an illustrator, a singer and a multiple person, multiple indeed because inside of me coexhist a lot of different personalities – and one of them is the Divina.
I love eveything that feels like a stab at my heart, I love everything that disturbs and unsettles concealing a kind of poetry that I feel close to me, akin to what I am.
My illustrations are part of me, my freaks and my whores, my pimpled-faced kids, they're all my children, and each and every one of them has a story to tell – they're different and unique but not bad because of their difference or, yes, sometimes even bad but only because they're forced to be bad.
That's me: a transfixed heart, more or less sacred, more or less bleeding.
