The word “live” is not too common in the world of Drum and Bass. For a long time the DJ was the center front of the main stage rocking two turntables and some vinyl, sometimes accompanied by the occasional MC. Times, however, have changed and the scene is evolving into bigger and more interesting things year by year. With the advancement of technology and the daringness of producers to step out of the box and adventure into new territories comes a new era of Drum and Bass, of which Divine Elements is on the forefront.
Since 2003, Concise and Ru have been producing together under the name Divine Elements, but it wasn’t until 2004 that the duo became a part of Grapevinez International, where they met world-renowned Drum and Bass legend MCMC. Divine Elements performed their first live show at a Grapevinez event and have since gone on to perform at such highly regarded events as History (The Highlands and Avalon), Koncrete Jungle (NY), Legendz (Key Club) and Respect (los Angeles); sharing lineups with the likes of Pendulum, Nickey Blackmarket, Accidental Heroes, Future Prophecies, Dieselboy, Cause 4 Concern, Hive, Gridlok, Invaderz, Evol Intent, John Tejada, Juju and many more.
With a nationwide tour entitled “Element of Surprise” under their belt, which included stops in Honolulu, Los Angeles, Baja Mexico, San Diego, San Francisco, Arizona, New York, New Mexico, Nevada and more; this rising talent has no boundaries in site. In June of 2006, D.E. released their debut album “Defining Moment” on H2Zero Recordings, creating a buzz in the local scene. And in 2008 they signed with Bigeye Records, releasing Drum & Bass and Breakbeat singles worldwide. Quickly the word was getting out that Divine Elements was on the rise, garnering airplay on multiple international radio broadcasts such as X-Site Radio, DNBRadio.com and the prestigious BBC Radio 1Xtra show featuring L Double.
Part of what sets Divine Elements apart is their ability to constantly expand their production. Originally started as the duo, the group now consists of a live drummer (Alex Rosson), an electric guitarist (Brian Beckion), a scratch DJ (OMZ), vocalists and an MC (Kief Life). This eclectic group has now gained reference as an “in demand” live production act.

The Dub Box Vol.2 consists of 4 Dubstep tracks that highlight the strong personality of artists; different to each other but united by a great sound impact and hypnotic sequences as in "Misstech", a perfect example of technodub, with rhythmic beat, perfect for the dancefloor or Liberation a track of absolute quality with very strong bass and broken rhythm. Mother Inc.’s Infinity moves instead in an very electro-melodic atmosphere with an excellent arrangement and Numa Crew while we face the sounds and rhythms of more classical dubstep sound.
The Dub Box vol.2 is another important piece in the growth of dubstep scene in Italy: in this release strength and originality are seen at their best!
