The Divine Icons are inspired by all that is Divine and all that is Iconic to aspire themselves to a new level. Forming member, vocal writer, co-producer and manager Abbi Awesu found inspiration in the Icons of our age and with faith in the Divine intervention provided to so many the only way was up, up and furtherstill, never setting stop points..only rest points to gather the energy to push it to the new level again and again. Abbi enlisted producer/composer Ru Garvey to help him achieve the musical goals he desired. Some consider Ru urban myth, others think he could be a figment of Abbi's imagination. Then when hauling through the mass of available singers he came across a very rare gem.. lucy-Anne Kinsella. Trained to the highest level with looks to kill and tattoo's as well what more could he ask for, no more unique, talented, Divine or Iconic could he hope to find. In search of more iconic angles for the project he enlisted DJ/Producer LayD Hilton to bring Divination and Iconic symbolism to the club sound he wanted to develop in search of more angles to the Divine Icons fresh sound.
