While out at a party, Divine MC met up with Baz, promoter and resident of the notorious Warner Bass nights in La Chapelle. They got chatting about their mutual love of music when they realised they had compatible styles and decided to combine forces. Playing back to back, they complemented each other’s skills behind the decks and on the mike, which proved a good call from the get go. They’ve since energised crowd after crowd with their infectiously sprightly flavours and raw bass lines. The duo’s synergy developing more and more each time they play, they’re guaranteed to keep you bouncing ‘till daybreak.
Together they held a monthly residency on Equinoxe FM from 2002 until 2006 and are now hosting their own show, christened Drop It, on Warm FM. Tune in on Tuesday nights at ten for a sampling.
Their main focus however, was to put Liège on the party-map. They formed an alliance with DJ System-D through which Volume was born. Another success story under their belts, they headed further a field and worked on projects with the Brussels based Hydra crew.
2006 saw them travelling North and joining Dedkob, a collective of very accomplished Drum and Bass artists, mostly based in Flanders.
In this way they have done their part in uniting the scene and using this combined strength for some real growth.
Besides collaborating with Baz, Divine also provides compelling lyrical support for a host of DJ’s with very different styles.
Mixing up rhymes with a touch of vocals, she is a versatile and energetic MC drawing upon a variety of influences. As well as the great Drum and Bass MC’s such as Stevie Hyper D, she looks to Ragga, Hiphop and Grime MC’s for inspiration. Her main strength is the way in which she connects with people, making them feel part of the set and transforming the crowd into a true congregation of revellers. This talent was later confirmed by Knowledge in an article about female artist in Belgium and Holland.
Divine is currently broadening her horizons. Besides being heavily active on the DNB scene, concocting new party concepts and working on new productions, she is also venturing out beyond the boundaries of the genre. She has been delivering sets to Electro, Breakbeat, Dubstep, Baltimore and Grime, which has sparked her curiosity and love for exploration. The future looks bright for this tenacious lady, with new and exciting prospects in the pipeline which are bound to turn some heads.

We had the chance and the pleasure to celebrate on Saturday november 21st 2009 at the Vaudeville in Brussels, the Hip-Hop Anniversary proposing 26 years of this Culture in Belgium as well as 35 years worldwide without forgetting 21 years of struggle for the Zulu Nation on our country.
That event had for goal to celebrate with the entire Community a new step in the history of the movement and this is why the Zulu Nation did all they could to offer to everyone a party which should stay in the History of our National events putting on the table their Financial capacities but most af all the positive energy that the organisation tries to spread thru all those years.
It is important to understand that this Culture is the property of nobody in particular and each and everyone defend it or make it survive in its way. The Zulu Nation has for goal to unite the different people to create a "Unity" which stays the key for success and longetivity.
