lila, in Sanskrit, means divine play, or the eternal play between matter and consciousness, or human life as performed for the amusement of those up above.
I'm a Yoga Works 200-hour certified teacher, and a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. I become a certified AcroYoga teacher in December of 2007.
hello!! you should come to l.a. and do an acroyoga workshop.
i'm so excited to report that i got my first teaching gig! i got a scholarship for a teacher training here in l.a. for a small studio that wants to test it out. anyway, i was just appointed to teach an evening of yoga in a month at this spa.

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral, celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.
And a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2008, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great, (not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country or is the only "AMERICA" in the western hemisphere), and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith, or sexual preference of the wishee.
(By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms. This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others, and is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year, or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher.)
I miss you!! Come back to New York already! I know Hawaii's got palm trees and warmth and beaches but it also has mosquitoes and aloha-wear. And active volcanoes. New York is the clear winner! Don't leave me here alone, I wont make it til spring without you!! xoxo
hey love! from my office window i saw you threading your way through the farmer's market in union square the other day - shouted for you but it didn't work. ps this acroyoga stuff looks amazing, i would love to do this ... do you know i am getting my massage therapy license?
Hey pretty (and might I say flexible) mama :) I have been sick with the flew all weekend :( How about a walk and/or some tea when I'm feeling better? Thinking of you my dear.
Darling! I hope you had a good class night. I'm hoping to be able to take class on Friday, however it is up in the air. Stay fun and fabulous in the meantime. :-)
