  • Bio

Divine:Zero - Modern Melodic Death Metal. Divine:Zero in its current line up exists since early 2004. The band's roots trace back to a same-named project of some of the current members that recorded the so called "Solarisphere"-EP in the year 1999. Divine:Zero unites a great variety of popular metal-styles. Since the founding of the band it is the musicians' aim not to restrict themselves to one concrete sound but to create songs of a high range of variation. Divine:Zero's sound combines typical mid-90ies thrash-riffs with melodic riffings in the vein of the melodic Gteborg-metal and also metal styles of the new millenium – always under the claim of sounding modern without chumming up to current trents. The current output of the band is their debut album "The Day God left" (release date 08/10/02 around Europe). In September 08 the band has signed a contract with the German label Dr. Music Distribution which will distribute the album via Rough Trade and Code7/ Plastic Head in the European countries Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux and Sweden and the UK. The album contains 10 Songs with a running time of 52 minutes and includes a raging mixture of all of the band's trademarks. Divine:Zero is always searching for live gigs all over Germany and Europe. Metalheadz!!!
