Division of Power is a melodic hardcore punk band from Fort Worth and Arlington, Texas. Our name represents the influence of anarchism on us and can be taken three ways:
1. The division of power within an organization. In the United Sates this division can be seen in the rights between the states and the federal level but in an anarchist organization it can be seen in committees, general assemblies, confederation, and other subdivisions of an organization.
2. The division of hierarchical power. In an anarchist revolution power will be divided equally among the people, not distributed to an elite few.
3. A section of a revolutionary militia. A military division.

it's a cookout/picnic, with some acoustic (not realy bands in the after noon). plus, two bands have a show that night so they play around early dinner. then the last three will shack the house w/ the keg. so there will mosdef be hour with out anyone play'n.
