Music
I like loads of stuff, can't even begin to list the range of stuff I like, but I will have a go! Not keen on charty top 40 pap but I'm fairly open minded when it comes to music.
Artists I like: Beck, DJ Shadow, High Contrast, Logistics, Cyantific, Ian Brown, Kids in Tracksuits, Pharcyde, DJ Yoda, Everything but the Girl, London Elektricity, Soulwax, Massive Attack, Air, Prodigy, Mauro Picotto, Gomez, Supergrass, Orbital, David Gray, Dangermouse, Foo Fighters, David Bowie, People Under the Stairs, Radiohead, Kanye West, Doves, Pendulum, Chemical Brothers, Leonard Cohen, Dr Dre, PVD, Daft Punk.... I could go in, But I think that will do for now.
Movies
All time top films (off the top of my head) Leon, Fargo, The Big Lebowski, Donnie Darko, Paths of Glory, Blow and I'm sure theres more I can't think of......

Television
Simpsons (not the more recent episiodes as they are not as good), Futurama, King of the Hill, Red Dwarf, Prison Break, Sopranos, Father Ted, Blackadder, The Young Ones, Spaced, Adam and Joe Show, Long Way Round, Race to Dakar etc. Don't watch much TV these days though.
Books
I'm not in school anymore so no one can force me to read.
Also, I can't remember how to anyway!
Heroes
Garth Algar, Beavis, Dale Gribble/Rusty Shackleford, and Mr Burns.
About me: Erm... isn't this the same as interests? Oh well, I like listening to music, watching films, wasting time on the internet and drinking large quantities of Guinness down the pub (its good for you). I'm also into my scooters despite not being 16. I one auto at the mo and would like to get a lammy at some point in the future, though lack of cash and not having anywhere to keep it are stopping me from getting one now. The last three years I have driven from York to Oudenburg in Belgium as part of the Darkside Drink it Dry Tour. All top weekends, pics can be found in my gallery link below, my photoblog and there is a video from the first year below this.
....
Lately I have been getting quite into photgraphy, bought a new DSLR a few years ago and since then I have been taking even more pics of stuff. Just bought some cool new lenses recently as well, so should improve the quality of my pics a little. My gallery can be found here divuk83.net. Or you can look at my blog above, which is now being used as more of a photoblog.
Not sure what else to say as I can't be arsed to type any more and the more I type the stranger I sound.
Oh yeah, I hate football!
Best add my Facebook link on here as everyone else seems to be doing it!
Dave
Who I'd like to meet: erm.. well anyone really. Even better would be someone with similar interests and taste in music, but I doubt there's many people out there like that! So pretty much any open minded people capable of intelligent conversation. Don't be afraid to add me, I don't smell or have the lurgey or anything like that:D
Only a few weeks until a limited amount of collectors gatefold CDs drop exclusively via WarpMart and DealmakerRecords. Com......after that you're going to have to wait until the 18th August when "Lemurian" lands in all good record shops!!
"Like Boards of Canada with an extra scoop of codeine and better drums...." - Rustie "By golly we like it" - Mixmag - 4/5 "This is daydream music....." - Bibio (Mush Records) "FRESHNESS!!" - Varan "lone is the one!" - Red Bull Music Academy "He has drunk from some our our Los Angeles waters" - Daedelus (Ninja Tune)
This gig is gonna be one of the highlights of the year......

Guilt Pursuit + Honeytone Cody + The Carlyle Group
Guilt Pusuit incorporate lots of varied influences, from Sonic Youth to Nick Cave. Their new song, however, sounds quite like an Arabian disco, so that shows what they're about really! Expect a fine collision of the raw and the cooked from Leeds’ hottest new band.
Tickets: £5/£4 flyer/NUS
Thursday 19 June, 8.00 - Apollo 15 & Soup present…..
Awesome Color + That Fucking Tank
Probably the best rockin’ line-up of the year! Michegan’s Awesome Color are a stompin’ drone-rock day-glo answer to the Stooges. Leeds 2-piece That Fucking Tank blast out a twisted take on Math rock stylings to formidable effect.
