Dixiefrog is a 20 years old european label, based in France, modern blues and "american roots music oriented".
The Dixiefrog's goal is to propose an open-minded vision of the blues. We like to mix the styles and several releases of the label are also world
music, or rock, or funk oriented.
Dixiefrog signs its albums, generally for Europe, rarely for the whole world, and sometimes only for France. We try to keep a good selection of
artists and records based on real creativity.
All the artists on the catalog are still recording and are performing regularly. We consider thay all have given a personal contribution and style
to the american and afro-american music pionneers' legacy.
Dixiefrog uses to release about 20 records each year. Dixiefrog has released yet artists as Popa Chubby, Tony Joe White, Calvin Russell, Bill Wyman's
