About Dixie Tradition(needs fill in Lead guitar player)
Raised in the North West corner of Louisiana also called Sportsman’s Paradise. This set of 22-year-old twin brothers comes from a very musically inclined family, they began singing and performing at age 3 all around the Ark-LA-Tex. By age 15 they had recorded their first demo cd. In 2007 they traveled to Nashville and began working on their first break out CD titled "A little south of southern" Jonathon wrote two songs on that cd and continues to perfect his writing abilities. In October 2008 this cd was released and has sold over 5000 copies at their live shows. One such place was in October 2008 at Disney Worlds Epcot Center where they were asked by the local tourism bureau to go and represent NW Louisiana at the 2008 Food and Wine Festival.
In early 2009 they began working on recording their second cd titled "Pea Pickin' Country" which will be released in December 2009. Their first single off of that cd "I’m country" is being released to radio right now. One song "Little Things" is one of the top 4 requested songs on KXKS Kiss Country 93.7 in Shreveport, LA.
Dixie Tradition is getting ready to start touring in March 2010 to Austin, San Antonio, Del Rio and Houston, Texas.
In July 2010 they will start their 26 city "5 Star Trailer Park Tour" through Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee.
They have opened for Kevin Fowler, Zona Jones, and just as recently will open for Jack Ingram (Mudstock 10/17/2009) as well as James Otto (10/25/2009 Louisiana state fair)
Dixie Tradition is rocking new country and best described as a fine country dish, with a hint of southern rock, a dash of gospel, a smidge of pop, and a pinch of rock mixed together for one tasty show. Influences are Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean, Chris Young, Keith Urban and Lady Antebellum and The Zac Brown Band just to name a few.
Andy "Super Fly" Vargo - Lead Guitar,Nick "Crazy Sticks" Vargo-Drums
Special thanks to the Vargo family Andy, Susie & Nick for all you have done for us and always remember you have a very special place in our hearts.

I'd like to express my heartfelt thanks to Tanya, Scott, DJ, Jonathon, Cole, Lance, RD, Adam, and all those who made my time with DIXIE TRADITION a truly memorable experience. I hope my humble contribution to the band proved to have a positive impact, as it certainly enriched my own life as a musician.
