Influences
-America is false to the past, false to the present, and solemnly binds herself to be false to the future.
-Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have the exact measure of the injustice and wrong which will be imposed on them.
-Those who profess to favor freedom, and deprecate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground, they want rain without thunder and lightning.
-Any dictator would admire the uniformity and obedience of the U.S. media.
-The thing worse than rebellion is the thing that causes rebellion.
-To suppress free speech is a double wrong. It violates the rights of the hearer as well as those of the speaker.
D-I-X was born in 1993. What happened you ask? Well, Tommy played bass in a band with Joe on drums. They needed a singer. Enter Tim. Tim and Tommy hated that band, so they started another. They also hated that band. They re-connected with Joe, Tommy shifted over to guitar and Rynn joined in on bass. Thus, the birth of D-I-X. They wrote several decent punk rock songs. While attending a concert by punk rock god-fathers Bad Religion, Tim ran into his old high school friend Jones. Jones had just quit playing with phoenix legends Dirty Laundry and was looking for a new band to play with. Jones began playing with the band. The songs got better. They recorded a few songs for Phoenix based record label Bad Stain Records, played some great shows, and had a lot of good times. Though they may be gone, the band will never die (after all, they're tattooed on Tommy's arm).
Chase wants D-I-X to play the Bad Stain 12 year reunion at Cooper's Town June 2nd. I can't believe it's been that long. I think D-I-X should play. Afterwards will be a debate about the possible existence of lines in the sky which only certain people can see.
