DIYA4MAFIA RECORDS is a label created by five youngmen raised in Cairo City in 1998, the main idea to creating the label is to promote and entertain hip hop music to enlight the people by sending a lyricly message throught the microphone, main ideologies is to fight all negativity created by the mass media , national and international politic which leaded to a chaos for the Arabian,African and many other communities.
The records get some ups and downs but the members still as one hand to continue the way, but the mission still ain t complet because of the splitting of the members, some of the group prefered to stop and some still in the game. 2006 a magical phone call from the great designer and entertainer of the Egyptian underground Mr.Solo to Douya A.K.A Douyaveli make the reincarnation to returning in this game but alot of things done change during this period of shut down. Douya made his contact to all his old soljaz and brotherz to remake the DIYA again and reincarnate the old dream in a new version with a new flavour of music. The main members of DIYA4MAFIA are Douya aka Douyaveli and Assem aka Mrcheeks (Sweden),Issa aka Coolman (Canada), Jacob Coulibali (France) and Yahya aka Mr.servon (Egypt). the mission isn t that easy to remake it like how it used to be but DIYA made alot contacts with alot of underground rappers from different country like Romania,U.S.A and other countries to entering the game much bigger and stronger with an international flavour.
The main influence came from the afro-american music wellknown under the name of HipHop. Brenda got a baby, strictly for my nigga, keep ya head up and only god can judge me created by 2pac made alot of philosofical questions and ideas for the band to asking about environement surrounding them. NWA..s music was the challenge to face corrupt cops with a strict way, it made them in a situation of revolting against anything wrong even if will be under the name of law, plus religious influences which made them more mature to not attacking anything without a good reason even if the language still a street talk to speak with the simple listeners who can only understand the straigh talk to struggle for a single piece of bread. Many other rappers made also influences on them like the Notorious BIG who made a revolution in the east coast music with his talented flow and considered as one of the kings in this game beside the king 2pac Shakur.
Under this period, the band grew up mentaly to get themselves in a case of facing alot racial politics and even some of the fans who started to change their point of view on the basis and concepts of the real hiphop, which it makes the hiphop as a weapon without bullets.The main ideologies of the rapper Douyaveli is to found a way out for all societies and communities and try to found with an intelectual way to fight against the materialism and those who create the war while claiming the peace by using the name of the almighty God while God has nothing to do with such imposters who keep killing the youth of any nation just to provid the reality and the justice.
