I'm your typical 19 year old, trying to make it through life. Nothing is too special about me. Some say I'm a good guy, and some say I'm a douche, okay not really. All I really do is go to school, make, and spend that bank. Other than that, I like to chill with the guys, be spontaneous, laugh, and have a good time. I like pretending. I like sleeping the day away when it's raining outside or when things are too depressing to get up for. I love being a friend and chances are that if you ask me for anything I won't be able to say no. I hate unhappy endings (unless I'm writing them) and prefer to imagine that everything turns out exactly the way a person wants it to. I'd rather play music and think all day than do anything else. I don't hate anyone. I don't care how different you are from me, we can be friends. Differences are nothing more than a learning opportunity. I am a Roman Catholic, but don't think that means I think I'm better than you. I know I'm not. I've already accumulated a lifetime of mistakes in my short 19 years. Mistakes are mistakes. There's nothing wrong with making them. They define us as humans and are a big part of self-discovery; you can't really figure out who you want to be unless you figure out who you don't want to be first. I'm obsessed with automobiles and fashion. Seriously. Things don't make sense to me unless I think about them. That's why I am always comtemplating. Life doesn't make sense unless I give in some time and wonder about it. And then, a lot of times, it still doesn't add up. My biggest fear is living a generic life; a life full of cliches and redundancy. Everyone wants the perfect love story. They want a boyfriend or girlfriend that does all the right things and ends up making a perfect husband or wife one day. I want a FRIEND. A person that can know me in every way possible to know another person. This person may be a girlfriend or a wife, but labeling something as self-explanatory as a soul-mate is pointless. Labels don't make things real, they make things labeled, and generic. I want a friend that knows every inch of my skin, every corner of my heart, every facet of my personality, every mistake in my past, every color in my eyes, every word to all my songs, every imperfection. . . I want to know that when this person looks at me, they're really looking. That they can see past the smoke and lights and into to my messy, fragile core. Relationships should never be a decision and for that matter an obligation. They should be as natural and healthy as breathing. I want to breathe something real and beautiful.
