Hi, I'm Zoe - a wee solo artist from just outside Kilmarnock. Been writing and playing for a couple of years now; playing a lot more gigs and producing more new material over the last year.

Well after taking my dear sweet time the follow-up album to the debut 'Skin Deep' is FINALLY finished :) The 'Nameless' album is another genre swapping mix of a c.d filled with original material and a cover of Toyah Wilcox's It's a Mystery. "Another highlight is the Skin Deep album from local lass Zoe Lewis. (www.myspace.com/dizzyfairy69) Just got it this morning, but it's shockingly impressive. Hard to file her under any one style, but if there was an indie, acoustic, country, punk torch song genre then she would be comfortable in there. Some nice covers of Hazel O'Conner and Dolly Parton on display. In fact I would go as far as to say that although there is plenty of talented and entertaining bands from around Ayrshire, there are few that would be able to step up to a larger audience with any conviction. Young Zoe sounds like the exception to the rule. The DIY pool has rarely thrown up anything as lush and accomplished as this."

Zoe Lewis... What an amazing young lady, with an amazing voice!! Good enough to grace any major venue in the country..in my humble and far from professional opinion, but I know what I like....as someone somewhere once said!! Along with her guitarist, they delivered a blistering performance of original material and cover versions....Her redition of Toyah's "It's a mystery" was brilliant. All of us there are sure that Zoe Lewis is a name that we will be hearing a lot more of!! - Rock Against Child Pornography Team
