About me:
I am what they call a "boylesque" performer. I do kind of my own thing and put a burly, and perhaps decidedly straight, take on a burlesque. Not that I'm trying to fix myself to anything sexual or gender identified, I'll do just about anything for a laugh. Often I think I'm mocking beauty, but perhaps that's not entirely accurate, but I'm certainly not pretty. I won't do a fan dance without some substantial warping of the traditional concept. ;)Current acts include:
Lumberjack: My first act, to Dolly Parton's 9 to 5 and Monty Pythons The Lumberjack Song. Desk jockey tired of the day job decides he wants to be A LUMBERJACK!
Chewbacca: I dance around in a furry suit. Working on a boom box that refuses to cooperate.
Die in the Dress: A drag act. Strip and then reverse strip into a dress. Done to The Thought of Her by the Golden Virgins
Dancing Enchilada: This act is currently out of service, I'm getting a new tortilla built. The other one was too unwieldy for the subways. Done to the song Cheese Enchilada by Big Smith.
The Clown: This has pretty much been mothballed. I'm still trying to figure out how mix opera and burlesque a little more. It's a work in progress. Yes, I can sing, and quite well, thank you.
Swanky Claus: A novelty act I do for Christmas. To Dan Hart's Xmas in the Nude.
Vegetable Vixen and the Bunny: A duet with Kiki Clutch, I'm the bunny seduced by her luscious vegetables.
The seductress thief and the jeweler: A duet with Coco La Pearl. I'm the jeweler, she robs me with a banana pistol.
If only you could see her through my eyes: A duet with JZ Bich. This is essentially a drag number inspired from the movie Cabaret. JZ assumes the name JZ Buch and I'm Dazie Swank. We make a cute couple!
