Music is a gift that wears two hats. Both for the performer and listener. This connection is revealed to anyone that expereinces Dizzy Woosh.
Dizzy Woosh's sound is pure and infectious - a new experience with every song. The band has grown through line-up changes and the realities of life into a vibrant and cohesive unit, with eyes forward and a singular sound that defines their musical identity and places them front-and-center on the horizon of tomorrow's jam rock sound. In the year and a half since its rise from the Rust Belt ruins and back woods of Western Pennsylvania; Dizzy Woosh has created a sound that embodies the raw, gritty everyman hubris of its roots and yet shows polish and maturity far beyond its years.
Johnny Lager's voice takes you by surprise from the start... strong and soulful; it fearlessly scales the heights and mines the depths of both music and spirit. His unassuming persona explodes on stage, driven by a need to deliver the music to everyone in range, confident that all who hear it will be changed from the experience. His rhythm guitar is the perfect musical compliment to The Woosh's groovy vibe. Dan uses his bass and backup vocal to create a counter-melody that travels hand-in-hand with Lager's voice, like an old friend who can't help but finish the thought. Brad's percussion acrobatics, harmonica and harmonies are the glue that binds the rhythm section of Dizzy Woosh while Mike's Drumming drives the treefunk beat from back to front and side to side; Mike is comfortable whether leading, sharing, or supporting the rhythmic process.
Rounding out and truly making the sound unique is Eric's tasty guitar licks which add a rock and roll swagger to the Woosh's sound. Charlie's bluegrass banjo licks take us all back out to the woods where we feel most at home. Finished off perfectly is Chance's accordion as it intertwines with his powerfully unique vocals to produce a sound that is very much Dizzy Woosh and not at all like anything else ever.... Just Woosh... real crispy, tasty...WOOSH!

Hey those tapestries at Midsummers were awesome! They made all the bands that played in front of them look even better, especially Dizzy Woosh! I heard that the same people that made them also have dozens (like more than 50) tie-dyes at the Harmony Emporium! Wow what a coincidence, theres a video from mid-summers and a message from The Harmony Emporium just below this message!
