Coupled with his background of mechanical engineering, this appetite has facilitated genre-expanding production and a relentless desire to push the envelope of creativity. Now, Producer, DJ, Label Entrepreneur, Sound Designer, Remixer, and Promoter are just a few of the many faces of Thirteen. He stays dynamic yet never strays from his singular style: "It's my belief that a great DJ can play several styles but still have an unmistakable sound." Throughout the west coast, Thirteen's performances have rocked crowds with flawless mixing and timeless track selection. As a weekly resident of the legendary Fenix Underground, his dirty beats generated a buzz throughout Seattle and the Northwest. Now calling Los Angeles his home, he can be heard at Avalon Hollywood and Vanguard and seen in the pages of the premiere issue of Vicious Magazine, a global music and nightlife publication (Vicious’ current cover story highlights Sasha’s Invol2ver tour). His mixes can be heard on Proton and XM Radio, Digitally Imported, and TrasmissionFM, where he maintained a weekly two hour live radio show from his DJTEQ studio in Los Angeles. Recently, Thirteen's "Evolve" show has become one of the most popular podcasts on iTunes. Not content sharing only his own musical taste, Thirteen also brings some of his favorite DJs center stage as guests on Evolve. Moreover, he regularly shares the stage and studio with some of dance music's finest: Kazell, Quivver, Oliver Moldan, Paul Sparkes (Ministry of Sound), EVA, Medway (Bedrock and HooJ), Richard File (Unkle), Chloe Harris, and DJ Icey.
