About me:

Israel's DJ'ing career began in the mid eighties by way of the whole hip hop and break dancing craze that was taking place then. His friend Shawn Davis (DJ BASS) had a mixer & turntable and he had records & another turntable so they got together & rocked little basement parties on the army base in El Paso, Texas where they lived at the time. "Back in those days we used to mix with belt driven tables, a radio shack mixer and even mixed in tapes if we needed to!" Living on an army base was great for the young DJ Israel because he met alot of other kids who brought music and mixtapes from all over the world and this allowed him to hear & be influenced by legendary DJ's like RED ALERT of New York, THE WIZARD aka Jeff Mills of Detroit and JULIAN JUMPIN' PEREZ of Chicago's hot mix 5 to name just a few. When he was old enough he began to frequent clubs in El Paso, Juarez, Mexico & Dallas and later began DJ'ing in some of those very clubs. Next came the raves & techno and his involvement in some of El Paso's very first "underground" rave warehouse events. "I was hooked from the start!" In 1994 he moved to Dallas, got involved with the rave/club scene there and DJ'd at many events locally as well as in New Mexico, Washington State and Oregon. These days Israel is working on producing his own music and DJ'ing everywhere he can hoping to spread the love and passion he feels for the art of mixing and electronic dance beats throughout the world.
