Virginia native Dj 3-2-1 is a product of the saying "hard work pays off". 3-2-1 started djing during his senior year of high school. Watching various djs on rapcity's the basement inspired 3-2-1 to order his first set of turntables. Practicing day and night, 3-2-1 continued his hobby while attending college at Virginia State University. It was there he linked up with The Dirty Dozen Squad. While a member of the Dirty Dozen Squad, 3-2-1 was the first to spin at various events. During that period he also learned how to be a versatile Dj, incorporating mixing, scratching, blending, and cuts during his 30 minute set. 3-2-1 went on to release his first mixtape series in 2004 entitled "Something Like A Celebrity." Dirty Dozen Squad was a great stepping stone for 3-2-1, he went on to spin at numerous parties and clubs like Club 534, Hyperlink, Club 5 in D.C., Masonic Temple in D.C., Club Destination in NC, Club Oasis in VA, Firehouse Grill in VA, Cockcade Bar & Grill in VA, Blackjacks in VA. In 2006 3-2-1 created a new mixtape series "Show Discipline" which is currently being distributed in many states and 31 countries. Not just confined to rocking parties and dropping mixtapes, 3-2-1 took his brand to the airwaves, In March of 2007 The Fix premiered on 91.3 WVST every Saturday at 8p. The Fix gave DJ 3-2-1 an opportunity to break new music and new artist. The Fix created an outlet for the up and coming artist to be heard to the national and international audience that listened to The Fix. In 2008 DJ 3-2-1 was accepted into one of the hottest DJ crews The Fleet DJs, The Fleet DJs created an outlet for 3-2-1 to distribute his mixtapes to all cell phones, itunes, igoogle, my yahoo, etc. In addition to joining The Fleet DJs, DJ 3-2-1 was also added to the roster ..on The DJ, which distributes "Show Discipline Radio" to all Sprint/Nextel & US Cellular phones. Also in 2008 DJ 3-2-1 parntered up with Forever Entertainment to produced "Musical Selections with DJ 3-2-1" for Forever Entertainment's newsletter that goes out to 10,000+ subscribers. DJ 3-2-1 strives to continue to keep the artform of DJing alive in the technology age, you can catch him spinning in a venue near you!
