About me:
I believe myself to be a pretty decent guy overall, struggling with the weighty philosophical issues and the petty discomforts of not being wealthy and powerful. I would define myself as a songwriter first and foremost. I enjoy DJing (every Thursday and Friday night at the Kitsch bar in Costa Mesa; see the 'blog' section for my DJ philosophy) and strumming my super catchy songs in an amazing band called (you guessed it...) The Predicate. I'm passionate about LPs and DVDs and I'm nausated by what Dubya has done to this country and the world more than words can describe (I've never been so ashamed to call myself an American after this last election). I'm a Laker fan for life and despite what Alison says in my comments section, I'm not a know-it-all, although sometimes I come off that way (and I do enjoy shouting out the answers in question form when watching Jeopardy).
I am fond of breezy Costa Mesa and wear my East-Side colors proudly and I love watching the females of our species shake their collective asses to funky music. I believe this is specifically what keep the Earth spinning.

Silly stoner girls, all book smart, willing to read
passages from Finnegan's Wake out loud and ready to discuss aggressively which is the coolest of the Glass children in the Salinger ouevre. You don't have to chose Max Roach over Art Blakey, or Bowie over Bolan, you just gotta groove to cool tunes.
