About me:
Beanie developed a strong love for djing in 99 when she was managing the Qbar in south yarra.
Whenever there was a spare minute she would be eagerly watching the dj’s from behind the decks whislt taking mental notes to learn her skill.
Sooner or later some one would hand over the head phones and make her have a mix.
In 2000, she went over to London and it was there she purchased her first vinyl.
Coming back to Melbourne later that year with just enough money to buy headphones and 50 records in her bag, her djing career began.
Beanie has many styles she likes to play, from deep vocal house to jackin chicargo beats and up to progressive/electro but she will always come back to her roots, House music.
However it is her love for all music which allows her to play to the crouds needs at any moment. Her experience and ability to read a crowd ensures a full dance floor and a rockin night out.
Beanie has played guest spots at 161, Room 680, market hotel, One love, GPO, George white bar, Lotel, ballarat cup, Qbar boat cruises, robarta, 21st century
She has supported international dj’s/producers such as Inland night, Pound Boys, Shakedown, style of eye, Jay west, Miguel migs, Roger Sanchez and played residencies with local boys, John Course, Nathan G, Pete Mac, Grant Smillie, luke Bowditch, Katie Drover, Luke McD, TRek to name a few....
Beanie has weekly residencies at Ocean blue, Mink, Qbar, Tramp, Wah Wah and is also part of the brekky club on kiss fm Tuesday and Thursday mornings. she has also started producing some of her own stuff.
