About me: Benn was born in the industrial metropolis of Tampere in 1981. At the age of 13 he heard electronic music, the first music that inspired and moved him. Since then it has been his passion. At the age of 17, after going to numerous parties, seeing many great dj's to mix and falling in love with techno he acquired a pair of decks and begun to mix for his own fun. Bedroom wasn't enough for long for spreading his love of techno. In 2000 he sent a mixtape to a contest for new dj's in a local radio, and the victory was Benn's. After his breakthrough year and a busy schedule, Benn was awarded as the fourth newcomer dj in Finnish Club Awards.
Benn has also worked in scene by selling wax in a local recordstore and organizing parties with his friends in order to keep the dying techno scene of Tampere alive. Also due to his efforts for the scene, he has earned a sound position in the small group of Finnish techno DJs. Since working hard on promoting himself and improving his mixing skills, Benn has been noticed also abroad. He got changes to show what he was about in Belgium, Germany and Estonia. In Belgium he was chosen in a contest amongst many other dj's to perform at the legendary Silo in Leuven. In 2004 he hosted a show with his friend to LiveSets.com Radio.
Benn has always been known of his easily recognized dancefloor friendly style, which consists of floorshaking hardgroove to funky, tribal madness and Detroit influenced techno.
