Turnoffs include: phony-ass mofos who are only nice when it's beneficial to them. You'd think artists would be nice to other artists, but most times they're only jealous cunts or too lazy or arrogant to take 5 seconds to respond to an email. It's not that hard to be cordial people!! lol And of course all those who abuse their power and exploit people for personal gain - in government, bosses, or anyone in position to take advantage of another. Bad hygiene and laziness. Liars and scammers. Blatant stupidity and disregard for others. Immaturity and lack of self-dicipline or control. Backstabbing bitches. Selfish and self-indulgent people who take more than they give and only like to hear themselves talk. Oh and people who are too cocky for their own good. There's always someone in the world who's better than you at something, it's best to be humble and not too critical because people and things aren't always what they seem, plus you never know what you can learn from someone else. Burning bridges gets you nowhere in life cuz being on top of the world means nothing if you have no real friends to share it with...werd up! ;)
Hardcore techno, drum and bass/jungle, rock, metal, old skool hip hop, classic rock, hard techno, schranz, hard trance, tribal, hardstyle, acid, psytrance, goa, breakbeats, trip hop, 80's, and 80's dance including old skool house, breaks, electro, and freestyle, jazz - especially psychedelic and avant garde, tech-house, progressive, alternative, new wave, industrial, latin, and much much more. Music is the soundtrack of our lives, and I appreciate beats that make you want to dance, think, reflect, vent, escape, relax, get energized, motivated, focused, or bang your fuckin head! All music is precious and inspiring, and there are sounds to fit all our complex moods =)
Sometimes in our music we have something to say...other times you shouldn't take the samples so seriously...and for that reason I post this pic =) ..
Movies
Wow there are so many to list...I love everything...things to make me laugh, think, gasp, sit at the edge of my seat, get teary-eyed, explore, learn, feel good, feel bad, feel naughty, feel silly....give me a good movie, I will watch it. It's a nice escape from reality that we all need from sometimes, or a moment to feel a connection with someone else. Plus you can learn about yourself, others, and/or the world around you too. =)
Television
Family Guy!!!!!!! Robot Chicken, Wonder Showzen (bring it back!), Chappelle's Show, Lucky Louie (they also need major comebacks!), Dexter, Late Night with Conan O'brien, The Simpsons, Da Ali G Show (<3 Borat), South Park, American Dad, The Twilight Zone, Sopranos, Underbelly, Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Paranormal State, Jackass and Wild Boyz, Team Sanchez, Trigger Happy TV, Crank Yankers, Tom Green Show (he's effin nuts), Stand-up Comedy, SNL, In Living Color and more crap I can't remember right now....but basically I'll watch anything hilarious or compelling, and I also have the guilty pleasure of watching people embarrass themselves on reality tv shows. :)
Books

And people who dedicate themselves to making positive changes in the world, including truth-seekers, human and animal rights advocates, human services volunteers and professionals, researchers, archaeologists, and everyone in between. Without them there's no hope for a better tomorrow.
And for all of you who think Che is a "hero" think again, and click on the picture for more info...
Whattup peeps! Thanks for stopping by =)
Well first off, my name is Jen Mas, and I'm a New York City based DJ, producer, and event coordinator.
I'm a turntablist and a fan of musical variety, and my goal is to represent the harder dance sounds to the fullest!
I primarily spin and produce hardcore techno, but I also spin drum and bass, electro, house, techno, hardstyle, and various other genres as well, as I enjoy spinning for many different types of people. And since I come from the old skool I have a tendency of throwing old tracks into my sets, which has helped open new minds to appreciate some of the underground sounds that I have to offer. I know many out there aren't that familiar with some of this music, but with the right representation on my end and a curious ear on yours, I feel you can get into it and possibly even love it! =)
Over a decade ago I began my journey in the underground electronic scene, at first organizing events, and then shortly after taking up the art of DJing. Always one to take charge, I eventually formed my own production crew called Vitus Productions. The crew is still quite active to date, and it consists of cool and talented people that I have crossed paths with throughout the years. I essentially rounded up a wonderful group of friends who had similar goals in mind and together we work hard to keep our music scene alive. Currently the roster consists of 7 unique artists, each with their own individual flair and style, collectively representing almost every style of electronic music. We've also formed strong alliances with other local crews with similar visions and aspirations, bringing you some of the best events year after year.
To learn more about our music ventures, projects, gigs and upcoming events, or to just check out the music for yourself, feel free to hit up our crew's website. There's quite the collection of free downloadable mixes, plus you will find links to other artists and friends, and a plethora of other useful information as well. I also have a personal website dedicated solely to my music endeavors if you'd like to paruse that too. =)

Lastly I'd like to take a second to thank all of you for all your support, comments and emails. Sometimes I get a lot and I try my best to respond to everyone but it's not always physically possible. Just know that I REALLY appreciate all your continued support and good vibes! If you need something though, the best bet is to email me because I'm much better at responding that way. And if you're going to spam me I probably won't respond but know that I wish you mad luck! Also if you're gonna promote something on my page keep the pictures and comments small or they will get deleted. Even though myspace shrinks comment pictures, some of you still have a tendency of leaving overly long comments. I don't go throwing billboards and essays on your pages so I ask that you not do that on mine. ;) And videos slow down my page so I tend to only have one or two up at a time. I always look at them though, so thanks for sharing!
Well that's it for now, much love and peace and see you on the dance floor you myspace maniacs! =P

Who I'd like to meet: Ravers, gabbers, junglists, house heads, techno freaks, b-boys and girls, cheeky bastards, the spiritually enlightened, the last ones dancing, and the energy-givers (not takers!) of the world...plus all the light-hearted, open-minded, down as fuck mofos that I left out! These are guilt-free addictions I highly recommend! =)
Oh, and of course other cool as hell DJs and producers...including these fierce women right here...
A few days ago, I, a Canadian, was asked by my friend Candace, an American, what I thought of President Obama. My answer was, "He is infinitely better than Bush, but likely not good enough to save the world." This had led to her new question: "Why does saving the world fall on America's shoulders?" And here is my long standing answer:
1. America has always prided itself to be "the most powerful nation in the world", so use this power for the common good. Follow America's own saying, "With the power comes the responsibility."
2. By volume America and China are the top polluters and GHG emitters in the world; USA & China, at least clean up your own acts!
3. On a per-capita basis, Americans, along with Canadians, are the most rampant consumers of Earth's finite and dwindling resources today, while the average Chinese consumes less than 10% of what an average America/Canadian does; Americans and Canadians, about time to voluntarily cut back!...
I did this mix in 1 take, decided that I liked it so much that it's going to be my next promo mix.
