Industrial/EBM/synthpop/goth/electro/80s/retro

Liebchen was a part of the Philadelphia scene prior to relocating to suburban Washington, D.C. in early 2004. A club regular, Liebchen moved into the booth in 2005. Liebchen is currently pursuing her degree as a Performing Arts major in Opera, and has been performing since 2000. She has also been a solo and featured performer, and a spoken word artist.

Liebchen brings a combination of unusual and unexpected mixes to her formidable knowledge and collection of several compatible club genres. Her fundamental philosophy is that the music should most of all motivate people to dance and have a good time, while introducing the latest music to the crowd as well.

Liebchens favorite bands include Funker Vogt, Stromkern, God Module, Seabound, Nitzer Ebb, and numerous acts from the 1980s and mid to late 90s.

Liebchen is currently in residency at Midnight in DC @ The Meeting Place, Ascension in Baltimore @ Orpheus, and was resident at the now defunctSubmerge @ Expo in DC and Syndrome @ Science Club, and has guested at the late Alchemy and Chronos. Liebchen is also involved with Arcadia. She has also spun 80s for The Blue Iguana in Fairfax.

Liebchen is also a member of the noisepunk band XUBERX, who have played with such acts as The Dark Clan, Ego Likeness, Bella Morte, Accessory, Government Zero, Bocksbeutal, Living Dead, and Hanzel Und Gretyl. Liebchen has also done live backing vocals for The Dark Clan.
