Hi I'm Phil, a 23 year old Trance DJ from Leeds, UK.
I've been DJing for around 4 years now. I've always had a passion for Dance music, but over the last 2 years, I discovered the sheer brilliance of Trance music.
I knew from an early age that I wanted to be a DJ, but it wasn't until the summer of 2005 where things started to get interesting.
After hearing of Paul Kershaw's Rising Stars competition on Galaxy FM, I mixed up a 30 minute CD, sent it off and hoped for the best! About a month later I found out that I had won!
Shortly after winning, I mixed up a 2 hour mix and hosted it on the internet for people to download and give their opinions. One person who took a particular interest in it was Jackie. She had recommended that I enter competition run by London Promotion - Addiction, which would the winner an opportunity to play for them at one of their nights, then the chance to go on and play for one of their bigger Summer time Boat Parties.
After hours of track selection, re-arranging and recording, I came up with a mix that would be the "Addiction In Search Of Trance" winning mix along with John Bentley's.
After coming joint first in the competition, Jackie took it upon herself to be my manager. Since then you can see from the flyers on my page that I have had some excellent opportunities to play out at some fantastic events!
