Ken Santarelli

About me:

My name is Kenneth Knut Santarelli, usually I just go by Ken or by my DJ/Artist name Whammy.

I currently attend Calvary Chapel Bible College and University of Phoenix.

I am a graduate of Desert Sands Charter High School. I've also attended Grace Lutheran School (Elementary/Junior High), Paraclete High School (Freshman & 1st Semester of Sophomore year), Lancaster High School (2nd semester of Sophomore year & Junior year), and Quartz Hill High School (First 3 weeks of Senior year)

I have a job as a computer repair tech at both American Post & Parcel and Valley Pharmacy in Lancaster.

I am a born again Christian and I love The Lord. I came to know The Lord at age 4. I was raised in the LCMS (Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod), and shortly after I turned 17 I backslid and fell away from the church completely. A few months later, a friend invited me to the Desert Vineyard for the second time and I heard Pastor David's message titled "A Life of Options" from "The Challenges To Faith" series. I believe that being there on that day was a divine appointment, as that message started a process that changed my life for the better. I was born again in the latter part of 2007, gave up the straight-edge Metalhead/Raver/DJ lifestyle, and have been seeking after The Lord ever since. I attended Desert Vineyard regularly from June 2007 until January 2009.

I currently attend church at Calvary Chapel Antelope Valley (Sunday morning @ 8:30 and/or 10:30 AM) and Revival Christian Fellowship a.k.a. Calvary Chapel Menifee (Sunday evening @ 6 PM, Wednesday evening @ 7 PM & Friday evening @ 7 PM).

I also get "fed" through Bob Coy's ministry and Joel Osteen's ministry.

I also attend Bible Study @ The Rios' house on Monday nights @ 7 PM. Vaughn and I also host our own Bible Study on Saturday afternoons @ Noon in which we have live worship and a video teaching of Revival Christian Fellowship's Sunday message with Pastor Gary Galbraith, we meet at either our house or at Keep It In The Light-Books & Tea Lounge on Avenue L & 45th Street West.

I enjoy listening to Contemporary Worship Music, Traditional Christian Hymns, Downtempo Chill, Instrumental Deep House, Ambient, Smooth Jazz, and some Country. I'll give almost any style of music a chance, but I prefer to listen to music with positive and uplifting lyrics or music that is instrumental. I try not to expose myself to music with negative lyrics, because I believe it has a long term spiritually damaging effect.

I speak 4 languages English (fluently), Norwegian (advanced level), Spanish (intermediate level), and Russian (novice level).

I've never had a girlfriend, never dated, never kissed, and I'm still a virgin. I am not currently looking, and I'm not interested in dating.

I drive a 2008 Candy Apple Red Ford Mustang V6. I love going on long road trips with friends that last well into the night, except for the ones where I get too tired to drive and I am forced to drive anyway.

I wear dark glasses all the time, they are prescription for astigmatism and light sensitivity and I never take them off.

I used to be a radio DJ at Surge Radio 96.3 & 102.1-Antelope Valley's Underground Alternative (monday - thursday nights 8 PM - 10 PM) and on Europa Plus Antelope Valley at FRS Walkie-Talkie Channels 3, 8, 10 & 14 (monday - friday nights 8 PM - 9 PM). However those stations are dead now. I've also worked as program director for Zed Radio, and as a DJ at KMIX Radio (an online radio station from gamesnet back in 2003, NOT 106.3). My voice has also been used in liners for the "Magic Summer" radio show on one of Paraguay's most popular Rock stations.

I used to be a mobile DJ, working under KrebStar Mobile DJ Service, Surge Radio and Dimension's DJing. I offered DJ services from 2003 - 2006. My style was House and Trance music. I've also composed Breakbeat and Trip Hop music.

I was an editor for Lancaster High School's Eagle Vision during the 2006/2007 school year. I also did the graphics and music, and I anchored occasionally.

I was an editor and actor in the Antelope Valley Union High School District Safety Video, produced at Lancaster High School in the summer of 2007.

I have previously worked as a sound technician at Grace Lutheran Church (2004 - 2006), at Desert Vineyard (2007 - 2009) and at The Well (2008 - 2009). I have also attended Advantage Unlimited Audio Seminar.
