Dj Aakmael is a Producer/Dj, who produces house, hip hop and R&B tracks. Being a true music head, Aakmael has a very rich background of music in his blood including Hip Hop, R'n'B, House, Reggae, Classical, Opera, and Jazz. His family has a history of musical talent, from his Great Uncle being a music teacher/composer for HU for some time, to his mother who sang tunes from morning to night, to his father who played trombone in a local band, and they both collected vast amount of records.
Aakmaels’ personal musical journey as a DJ started at age 16 doing parties, school jams, weddings, house parties, etc., playing everything from hip hop to rnb. After college, his musical horizon broadened even more when he started playing house, reggae and classics in his sets. Aakmael continues to Dj Deep House today on his radio show of 15 years on WDCE 90.1fm.
He has enjoyed some success with his releases out on Bumpin City Records, Unified Records, Manuscript Records and Cyberjamz Records which are available online. Aakmael also continues to produce remixes and talk regularly with other labels and producers in the game. As far as current productions, Aakmael produces Hip Hop, RNB, and Deep House Music.
