Combo de 6 musiciens créé en 2002, Djabah pratique un métal extrême où se posent deux voix aux accents tribaux. En 2003 le groupe est admis dans l'antre de Gojira afin d'y forger ses premières armes discographiques. De là naîtra la première démo éponyme encensée par la presse nationale (Hard'N'Heavy, Rock-Hard, Rock-Sound.)
Confiant, le groupe sort son premier album « Danhomè » enregistré au Drudenhaus Studio (Anorexia Nervosa, GTI, Trepalium...) en juin 2007, axé sur la traite des esclaves en Afrique de l'ouest. Afin de se sentir le plus proche du sujet le groupe a composé ses textes en langue Fon et Yorouba (Bénin, Nigeria) ainsi qu'en Anglais.
Djabah se démarque par des prestations scéniques ultra-énergiques.

Djabah is a french metal band which was created in the year 2002 and who plays
an extrem metal with two tribal voices. In the year 2003, the band is allowed
to record an album in the Gojira's home studio. From there, the first album will
be born and it will be appreciated by french national press like Hard'n'heavy,
Rocksound and Rock-Hard.
The new album called "DANHOME" has been recorded in the Drudenhaus Studio (
Anorexia Nervosa, GTI, Trepalium...) and the release is planned for April/May 2007.
The full-length is centered on the fate of the slaves in West Africa.
In order to follow the concept, Djabah composed the lyrics in two languages
called "FON" and "YOROUBA" (respectively the language of Benign and Nigeria) an
