Adam-Up fell in love with Hard Dance music when he turned 13. This is when his love for hardcore music began, and what led him to become a dj. He owe's this to his much older mates at the time who were die hard hardcore revelers who influenced him. After years of listening to hardcore tape packs mainly Helter Skelter, and Dream Scape, Adam-up decided he wanted to learn more indepth about how dj'in was done. After purchasing various Hardcore videos with footage of many dj's including Sy, Brisk, Hixxy and Vibes. Adam-Up became fond of sy, and his scratching, this is what led him to buy his first set of decks. After a year, many hours of practicing and many trips out to his local record shop Catapult (Cardiff) Adam-up entered into a local dj competition which he later went on to win. This encouraged Adam-up to keep at it and keep pushing himself, and the bookings started to come.
Adam-up has played for various events all over the country. He has played for Wales number one Hard dance night BIONIC many times and has featured on the line up's of many top name dj's including the likes of Daniele Mondello (italy), Activator (italy/Activa records), Cally & Juice (Bionic/Breathe/Ourstyle records) and Brian M & Mc Bunn (Bionic/Blutonium records).
Adam-up has also played for JOURNEY in cardiff on numerous occasions and has played many b2b sets with promoter/resident dj Stu Grady (voted wales best up and comind dj).
