DJ Akai is from Osaka, Japan. He encounterd psy trance when he travelled to India and Thailand around 1998 and upon his return to Japan began to DJ in earnest. He has been DJing for seven years and is currently resident DJ at Psychedelic Trance Party a:k (Ark) in Osaka.
