as a dj,i really like to mix 20 years old obscure acid house records with fresh minimal tracks.the old tracks sound as fresh as the new.
most of the time acid house sound more futuristic than most of the music.i think those people in chicago circa 87-88 were crazy and too ahead of their time.in 2006,people prefer retro music,it makes them comfortable.
to me,i like to be disturbed a little bit.i m not really into those poppy vocal house records.it sounds alittle too``normal``.in 87 when i bought my first acid house record,isaid to me--enfin,de la musique pas de paroles.
