I produce records...... records that care about the listener......
I like records that disregard boundaries.... records that transform music from wallpaper to catharsis.......... I like to work with bands who push envelopes and venture into unfamiliar territory..... I like to coax unboring sounds from sometimes boring instruments....... this is my mission in life....
Records are my lifeblood..... without them I don't exist...... I treat each record like a film - every song a different scene, intended to transport you somewhere else.........
I also mix records that I don't produce....... I mix in stereophonic and multiphonic (surround) mediums, at my personal customized mixing facility, the Isokon.
I'm an atheist, married, two dobermans, house in the woods, motorized toys in the driveway....... I think that sums it up. Oh, and I love to play golf.
