About Me
Dj Armalite is a 21 year old DJ/Producer from New Zealand, digging into the world of electronic music for quite some time. He has a love for melodic tunes as well has giving them a progressive vibe to it. Both his djing and producing range from genres such as Trance, to house, electro-house and most progressive EDM genres.
Dj Armalite's musical background include that he plays the guitar, drums, flute and keyboard / piano, which were all self-taught out of interest since the age of 11.
Dj Armalite's interest in music developed a long time ago with Hip Hop, at the age of 8. Throughout several years he produced a lot of simple hip hop music, influenced by many producers/rappers such as Dr. dre. Musical taste changed onto rock, particularly melodic rock, for a short amount of time until he was finally introduced to Electronic Dance Music. This sparked the greatest inspiration inside him, for example after listening to hit tracks such as Xpander by Sasha.
Day by day, Dj Armalite's production skills are improving, and great music is on their way soon.
At the age of 19, Dj Armalite got signed by a label for the first time ever. His progressive track "Hold Me" was signed by 2Recordings from London. By improving so rapidly, Dj Armalite will be producing incredible tunes in the near future so keep an eye out :)

The original idea of InterTech Records is to build a type of "new" versatile style that could be playable in clubs and in raves as well. An hybrid style that has the rythmic, tribal feel and powerfull bassline of techno, but at a tempo range in between 130bpm to 134bpm about.
