Judging by his thunderously dense undertones and sauntering swagger of his compositions, it's no wonder Verbicide Magazine's Avir Mitra placed this beat-maker somewhere between DJ Premier and DJ Shadow.

DJ Armbuster Lewis had early exposure to Hip hop via NYC Uptown park jams at The Dyckman projects where he would hear dee jays and emcees from his bedroom window - and that was the spark. Consisting of dusty breaks, ominous and at the same time glowing sonics, ArmBuster Lewis released 'The Clothes Sundays' EP in 2006. A brief introduction and exploration of beat driven instrumental Hip hop music that isn't the standard collection of corny filler material. Instead, the debut ep was filled wth big 'ol disgusting beats worthy of being super-hero theme music. The shuffling breaks of 'Swindle' and Yin/Yang storyline of 'Sith Vs. Jedi' has led to ArmBuster Lewis's music to be featured on American Movie Channel, various websites, and independent film projects.

Whether it's opening for someone like Swollen Members or producing his adventerous-sounding brand of Hip hop, Lewis's pulse is unmistakeable: molten-hot lava bombs on bass-heavy carpets surrounded by pure artistry... this is Beatness, this is ArmBuster Lewis.
