DJ Artistic has been a driving force in the music
industry for many years. Circa 1994, he introduced the infamous
BREAKTHROUGH HIP HOP COLLECTIVE, which is known for MC
and DJ battles. The BREAKTHROUGH helped elevate the San
Diego Hip Hop community to a new level. It supplied an
outlet for
new artist's to exhibit their talent in an Apollo
style environment. It was also San Diego's premier venue
for artists like Aceyalone, Abstract Rude, Project
Blowed’s MC, 2Mex, JOHAZ, MR BRADY, GASLAMP KILLER,Orco, Tony DA Skitzo, Urban Dynamics, FOS,
Visionaries, Mighty Kasey, Madlib, Loot Pack, Medusa,
DJ Drez, Pigeon John, Dr Oop, AWOL One, Living Legends,
Beat Junkies, and many more! His most recent achievements
include Dj'ing and production with the west coast
super group DEEP ROOTED. Collectively, Deep Rooted has won
2 music awards and is enjoying their second successful album
titled, “Second Coming”. As well as the success he
has is enjoying with Deep Rooted, DJ Artistic has also been
recognized in for his performances with legendary
artists like KRS 1, Supernatural, Ice Cube, and comedian Mike
Epps, His 2007 endeavor included touring with X Clan and
Public Enemy THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES as well as 2007 Nominee for BEST CLUB DJ SAN DIEGO .
In 2008 DJ ARTISTIC has Performed along side DJ ZTRIP, RICHARD VISION, KID CAPRI AND URBAN NETWORK
artists REED Dollars,Trina, Bizzy Bone, Mint condition
and Bum B to name a few. DJ Artistic is one of the hardest
