Dj e produtor, DJ BABÂO tem experiência comprovada em diversas partes do universo musical. Seja em gravação ou produção em estúdio, performances ao vivo com banda ou discotecando para as pistas de dança mais influentes, DJ BABÂO se destaca pela sua versatilidade, criatividade e espontaneidade. Marcelo d2, O Rappa, Sandra de Sá e Thalma de Freitas já confiaram em sua habilidade nos toca-discos; não à toa é o dj preferido de celebridades como Carol Castro e Cléo Pires.
Devoto da cultura do vinil, DJ BABÂO dispõe de um vasto repertório que vai desde o samba de Martinho da Vila, Bebeto e Alcione às mais novas tendências do música negra contemporânea como Kanye West e The Cool Kids, passando por gêneros típicos do rio como o funk. Tudo direto da fonte sem aditivos, afinal, ser dj foi um caminho natural para esse carioca pesquisador e amante da música de 28 anos.
Um dj versátil por natureza, DJ BABÂO é envolvido em múltiplos projetos. Inicialmente com o seu coletivo, o Brutal Crew, é co-criador de dois eventos fundamentais da cena hip hop brasileira: A Tradicional Batalha do Real e a Liga dos Mc's, que em 2007 o levou a sua primeira tour nacional. Ao lado do MC AORI ,seu amigo de infância, DJ BABÂO integra o duo INUMANOS, um dos grupos mais conceituados da nova escola do rap brasileiro, reverenciados por nomes consagrados como KLJAY (racionais Mcs), Black Alien e Falcão ( O RAPPA). Em 2006 lançou o seu primeiro álbum , “VOLUME DEZ”, que concorreu ao VMB 2006 de melhor clipe de rap e ganhou o prêmio Hutuz do mesmo ano com o mesmo clipe "Polegar Opositor", nessa mesma ocasião DJ Babão foi também indicado ao prêmio de melhor dj do ano.
Todo essa trajetória o levou ser o único brasileiro selecionado para o REDBULL MUSIC ACADEMY 2008, o prestigiado seminário global para músicos djs e produtores promovido pela marca de energéticos. O encontro esse ano se realiza em Barcelona e a partir da cultural cidade espanhola DJ BABÃO inicia sua primeira tour internacional .
Conhecido como um dj habilidoso e carismático, tanto nos shows como nas festas, ele não deixa ninguém parado.
Atualmente dj babão é residente da badalada festa NA BECA, no bar Atlântico e trabalha na produção do seu segundo álbum com os Inumanos “Mestres da noite”.

Dj and musical producer, DJ BABAO has a vast experience in many areas of the musical universe. Either in studio producing and recording, live band performance or rocking the hottest dance floors, DJ BABAO stands in evidence for his spontaneous creativity and versatility. His turntable skills made him trustworthy for great names in brazilian music like Marcelo D2, O Rappa, Sandra de Sá and Thalma de Freitas.
As a follower of the vinyl culture, DJ BABAO has a huge repertoire that goes from the classic samba of Martinho da Vila, Bebeto and Alcione to the newest names and styles in the black music genre such as Kanye West and The Cool Kids mixed up with Baile Funk beats from his hometown Rio de Janeiro.
Being a Dj was a natural path for this 29 years old music loving record collector.
With a wide range of interests, DJ BABAO has been involved in many projects. Starting with his collective, the Brutal Crew, he's a co-creator for two essencial events in the brazilian hip hop scene: "A Tradicional Batalha do Real" and the "Liga dos Mc's". Both are Mc battles that had nation wide exposure and took him to his first national tour. Side by side with Mc Aori, he forms the rap duo INUMANOS, one of the brazilian new school remarks. With their debut album Volume X (2006) they run for the best rap video in the MTV Brasil award and won the Hutuz award of this same year with the videoclip for "Polegar Opositor". In this same award, DJ BABAO was nominated for the best Dj award.
All this background, led him to be the only brasilian selected for the 2008 REDBULL MUSIC ACADEMY, a well known music workshop for musicians, djs and producers promoted by the energy drink brand. The academy will take place in Barcelona this year, and from there, DJ BABAO will be out in his first international tour.
In the year of 2009, DJ BABÃO has started with the best energies, playing in big parties in Rio such as The PUMA OCEAN RACE party with the baile funk legend Sany Pittbull. He has also collaborated in a track to the project N.A.S.A. with the producers Squeek E. Clean and Dj Zegon; also featured in this project are names as Chuck D, M.I.A., Kanye West, David Byrne e Method Man.
Being known as a charismatic and skilled Dj, both in live performances and in club Djaying, he rocks the crowd. These last months, DJ BABAO is resident on the hottest party in Rio, Na Beca wich takes place in Copacabana every monday and has been also working on the production of INUMANOS second album "Mestres da Noite".

hey u! how ya been? hope things are going good. I havent been able to make it over to the hotel to stop in for a minute... clints been working in town again so im back on dinner duty. lol we are trying to get a mailing list made for my mom to send the invitations out so that's yay. its going to be june 6th at 11a we're going to have some food a bit before. kind of a celebration thang, ya know? quitting mah job with that lameass of a boss jaime. gah, i aint gonna miss her at all! i still cant believe that that survey thing that britt showed me is actually working - n dat we're gettin paid; im so luvin it too. givin mah opinion on stuff i do - pshhh ... so easy. i wonder if we'll ever hit da cash that that website said we would. i dunno, but with my last check being $126, i dont even care. i only pulled in like 200 a week and my crapass job anyway, so this is perfect. you should do it, i'm tellin yah. i guess you'll have to type the link into internet explorer or whatever, but here it is:
