BadboE! First off let me say that I am humbled and privileged that you mentioned me in your liner notes. Thank you so much. Truly a great honour.
Secondly...What an album! Its awesome. There are some brilliant tracks on there. Its a testament to your talent. I wish you every success with it. Ill do whatever I can for it through the show. I was thinking of showcasing it by doing a special edition of the Big beat battlefield at the beginning of the show with just tracks from your album? How does that sound? Or maybe you have a different idea of something we can do?
Either way, thanks a lot for sending it on. Its brilliant. Keep up the great work man.
Headspin Promotion (DJ UK)
Hey Badboeeeeeeee, thank for the Album - awesome work! Dope compilation!
Griff (Jelly Jazz / Rambunctious Social Club / Eden Arts Cafe)
This is seriously funky business! There are a lot of 'funk wannabees' out there that think by sticking a clavinet and a wah guitar on a track makes it funk but in truth it's all in the groove. Badboe really understands this. These tracks really swing. Proper topshelf 21st century funk!
Will be playing at my three residencies in the SouthwestUK and on the Jelly Jazz radio show for sure!
Hipster (DJ)
What a great album! Love the new bits and the singles Ive collected from badboe over the last couple years continue to tear up the dancefloor.
Damage Control Entertainment (DJ)
Fantastic! Listened to it from start to end and loved every minute of that funky hip vibe. It's not music that I would normally spin but I'm considering finding similar tracks that I can used in a set.

some call it oldschool. i call it truschool. big funk made up
in a very fresh way. the only thing i can criticise is that it
lacks a bit diversity.

Funky hip hop breaks for the present day. Tips the hat to
the originals
I'm a truecore musichead born in 1980 in Denmark . I live in the northern part of Denmark, where I work in a software company. Up here the weather always suxx, which gives me a good excuse to sit in my music lab throwing pumpin' beats at my 18" bass sound system all day long. I listen to a lot of music - especially in the electronic music scene I like to know what’s going on - even if I don’t like it all. I still want to be open and get inspired by it. My primary music inspirations come from the oldskool funk productions from the late 60s and the 70s. Like many other breakbeat artists, this musical legacy is where I dig in to bring new life by cutting and mixing the pieces into new danceable songs. My specialty has become sophisticated mixing of old funk samples with 80s rap vocals and hooks.
I started out making music in the mid 90s - doing mainly euro hardcore techno. I soon found out my real passion and fascination was for breaks and bigbeats. I tried out just about everything in the electronic music genre from - house, trance, club, happy hardcore to drum&bass, triphop and breakbeat. I came to the conclusion that funky breakbeat is what I do best. So now I pretty much combined it all into one with an emphasis on breaks, which is what I call the BadboE-style.
In 2006 I have formed my own digital recordlabel together with my fellow musician Wiccatron called Breakbeat Paradise Recordings (BBP Recordings). Hopefully this will ensure faster access to the market as well as open doors for some of the great artists that are doing funky breaks...
In 2008 I've had the pleasure of playing at Roskilde Festival in Denmark and at the electronic Boom festival in Portugal.
In the upcoming years I want to focus on getting my music out there. I have released a few vinyl records last year - the debut EP: "Loose Your Funky Self" and a remix by Break The Box called "Walk out Laughing" and a remix on Ed Royals Innvision Records. Another EP "Dynamite/Nothing But the Funk" will be released in Oct 2008 with remixes from All Good Funk Alliance! A lot or remixes will be coming out on various labels as well as a 4-track EP that will be coming out on Goodgroove Recordings later this years...
My music are going in 2 directions – the first is making funky breaks and trippy lounge breaks without using uncleared samples (material to release commercially) and the other is for the scene mixing, breaking and bootlegin' with the oldskool funk tunes. Stay tuned...
