At a young age i loved the way that dj’s could manipulate music and dancefloors. I always had a keen passion for music, drumming through my early days. When i was introduced to a pair of technics 1200s i was hooked, I started collecting vinyl before i even owned decks.

I started mixing/scratching in around early 2002 and played around with my new found love for music and the technical aspects of sound. I used to love cutting and sampling sounds for the breakdancers of Cairns at the time calling themselves Lethal Techniques.

It all took a sharp upturn when i moved to melbourne in 2004 and saw some of the best really rip it up. It inspired me to explore different styles and show friends and such that i could pick what they wanted to hear.

I played a few nights at a small bar in Brighton in Melbourne. Basically commercial, Rnb and a bit of house. It really opened my eyes into what people liked and how to change the energy of the dancefloor.

This continued til i moved to a little city in North Queensland. Townsville being such a small city with the majority of clubs on the same street, it is a real effort to keep people both interested and happy. After all if they don’t like what they hear, they go next door. I joined another Dj with similar interests and we began to play Vs. style in most of the clubs.

We played weekly residencies, House nights, RnB nights, Funky house sunday afternoons, even radio station promotional parties and many many many many afterparties. Playing beside and with names such as Kid Kenobi and the Dukes of Windsor.

I love all styles of dance music, but always try to bring a different edge to everything i play. My main aim is to have everyone on the dancefloor dancing to music they might have never heard.

2009 -

- Friday nights residency at the bank nightclub, Townsville vs. abso-lukey.
- Funky house sunday afternoons at the loft.

2006/2007 -
Mint bar, Brighton, Melbourne.
Played at Whiteblue cowboys after party, Townsville.
Many many afterparties, house parties and birthdays.
