Around the globe, the name DJ BIG BEN is synonymous with Good Music.

Whether headed out for a night of debauchery at Tokyo’s “Duckbill” or Manhattan’s “Marquee”, having DJ BIG BEN on deck, guarantees music and energetic vibes that will feel like the best night of your life.

Born in Uptown Manhattan, but raised in Williamsburg Brooklyn, Ben is known as the MAIN EVENT. His older brother, a Disco DJ introduced Ben to the craft, but it wasn’t until he DJ’ed a party at 14 that his career was confirmed. On a local trip to a record store, he was introduced to Hip Hop and he is now historically known for introducing this genre on Lime Light’s main level.

At 19, Ben began working NYC’s club circuit.  His ability to read his audience and take them on a musical journey, is what sets him apart from his peers.  A sought out DJ, Ben has been invited to energize the night life scene in Chicago, Miami, LA, Greece and Japan.

Ben’s energetic club mixes have been requested by a slew of celebrities.  He has DJ’d birthday parties for Uma Thurman, Alek Wek, Lenny Kravitz, Owen Wilson and Nicky Hilton to name a few. At the age of 25, Ben was invited to be the Tour DJ and Hype man for famed radio personality, Angie Martinez.  Soon after he opened for Platinum acts such as the Backstreet Boys and O-Town. Well known and respected by his peers, Ben was approached by DJ Enuff in 2007 and invited to become a member of the Heavy Hitter Family. After his induction, Ben assumed the position as a mixer on Hot 97.

Aside from serving rock, hip hop, reggae, house and 80’s at Premier Venues through out New York City and New Jersey, you can catch DJ BIG BEN on BET’s “106th and Park” or Hot 97’s ”The Big Show”, Saturdays from 12-4am. If you’re lucky, you might even catch Ben while he’s on his world tour changing the music scene one nation at a time.
