About me: My name is Antoine, but throughout my life I've been known as Big Twon. Born and raised in Chicago, IL, music has been in my life from the beginning. My father was a DJ, my step-father was a DJ and my uncle was a DJ. It lies in my blood and I love what I do. I got into radio in high school at Percy L. Julian HS and took those skills to Illinois State University where I worked as a on-air personality, music director and even helped create a department at the radio station. I started Djing in college and my DJ set up was horrible. I now use American Audio CDI 500 MP3 players. I basically learned about Djing through friends, famous Dj's and basically busting my butt in the basement of my moms house. Out of college I worked at WVON-Black Talk radio in Chicago. From there I worked at Walgreens and to make money on the side I started djing weddings and such. My skills got better so i got more gigs and God blessed me with Emerge Management. Emerge Management, (myspace.com/emergemgt) is a management and promotions company for "People Who Want to Be Heard." I still continue to DJ weddings and such, but I'm taking my music to higher heights. My beautiful wife Tracy completed me so now as a one flesh we can do big things together. Shout out to everyone who helped me to this day: God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, my wife Tracy, my family and many friends associates and haters. I appreciate you all. What's up fam! Man the show was dope! Afterwards I got to chop it up with Zo!, Phonte, and Nicolay who are all some VERY cool and down the earth people. Man, I feel your wife though. My wife and I almost didn't make it to the end. It was rough and our back and feet were hurtin'. But it was worth it. Keep in touch man.
Ay twon i really like the mixtape and so do my friends. I put it on at school in Pop culture and they were like who is this, they said its hot!!!. I graduate on May 30th and all is well, just gotta job paying 10 dollars a hour and just been chilling, tell tracyi said whas up peace!!
