DJ Biography

With the summer 2005 self release of Brandon Wahl's "Mixed Emotions", a continuous DJ mix, the Murfreesboro-based DJ has took the Nashville dance music scene by storm with his smooth blend of deep and sexy house music. Born and raised in the Oklahoma City suburbs, Brandon was influenced by the likes of local DJ's Jeremy Dawson, Ed Crunk, Markus Lange and Jason Jacobs. In the summer of 2002 Brandon joined Perma-Grin Productions and began playing several dance parties in Lawton, Tulsa, and Oklahoma City. In 2003 Brandon teamed up with the DJ crew LoRd's ov Va'Dang and began playing at the legendary weekly underground house party Humpfest in Oklahoma City. In late 2003 early 2004 Brandon hosted Wednesday Getaway, and joined Oklahoma based Frequency Clear Productions. In august 2004 Brandon, interested in production, moved to Murfreesboro Tennessee to pursue a recording degree at Middle Tennessee State University. Since moving to Murfreesboro Brandon has played several clubs and parties in Nashville with headliners Stacy Kidd, Rick West, Brad Smith and Mark Alamara and is now in the process of forming Ultrasonic Funk Productions with local DJ's Smoky J and Stateside. Keep your eyes open for Brandon's next DJ compilation in the fall of 2005. In the meantime, catch him dropping tracks at clubs in Nashville and Oklahoma.
