DJ Burnout was first introduced to the NYC Nightlife scene as a teenager going to clubs and being influenced by the music he heard. By the end of high school, he was co-producing and DJing at underground events and loft parties in his hometown of Brooklyn and NYC with his friends. The success from these parties led him to become resident DJ for Fridays at Highline in New York City during the summer of 2007.
With a reputation for playing the latest hip-hop tracks and choice old school throwbacks he was then featured at such venues as Ultrabar (DC), Cloud (DC), Vesta (NYC), and Japone (DC). In 2008, he became the resident DJ at Johnny K’s (DC) where his following has grown. Currently, he has expanded his musical tastes to include Dubstep and House music.
