Hakkımda: KJ aka Camouflage started of his venture into the world of house music at the age 16. As time moved on his interest grew and it became more of a lifestyle then just beats and sounds. Along the years he gained an immense amount of knowledge about house music and started experimenting in his bedroom with a pair of decks and a mixer. His first break came in 1999 when he played at a house party and was scouted out by club owner who gave him an opportunity to play at a club called Reality, where he had met and played with a few well known DJs/producers. After playing at Reality (South Africa, Johannesburg) he then played at a few other clubs in around the Johannesburg area and until 2003. He left for the United Kingdom where he was to explore more about his love for house music.
"I do believe that ever since I was introduced to house music, I was completely myself. I could be whom ever I pleased and express myself in many ways. I felt the need to take control of this and the more I learned and explored, the more complete I felt! I've experienced different forms of house music and appreciate them all, I always say house music is a frequency! I have a main interest mostly in Chicago house because I feel this is where it was born and this is how it should be maintained. The sound of what is dubbed house music today, sometimes, does not even compare to what house music was meant to sound like and deliver the message it should!"
Ever since reaching London (UK) he has had a few sets at clubs like The Cross in 2003. He then gave up his DJ’ing to continue his career and later in 2005 he had returned to the entertainment industry, with his passion for House music still blooming and made appearances at the Fridge, Canvas, The Key, Ministry of Sound and Egg in London. His music is structured for positive vibes based on changing times in music. Message is simple....proper beats for proper people!
"Ever since being away from music, I felt a void in my life, but I always had the gut feel of that burning desire to pursue my career as I have the inner love and passion for House music. It has and always will be a part of me and I will grow with it."
Camouflage is back and this time he is here to stay.
"This is what a feeling is all about, I believe that if you love and are passionate about something, there is nothing upon this planet that can separate you from it, follow your dreams, follow your heart and make the most out of every musical experience!
2007 was a great year and saw Camouflage play out in Ibiza during the opening parties. This was a colossal changing point for him in many ways. Music has a connection with people. Playing out in Ibiza has taught Camouflage the true culture of music.
"When I was out there it was great to be amongst some of the world class superstar DJs like Groove Armada and Roger Sanchez and meeting people from different parts of the world. It had broadened my exposure to many genres of music, especially House music. The greatest moment during my Ibiza experience was when I had left the Island and met people from Berlin. It simply blew my mind away as there was a communication barrier in language, yet we bonded through the language of House music. It was an honour to kick off the party season in Ibiza playing the tracks that fulfil me as person with a burning desire for House Music; the Ibiza experience has taught me the true culture of music."
After returning to the United Kingdom from Ibiza, Camouflage played out at Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Turnmills, and has also has played sets out of London, in Bristol and Norwich which led to an opening in Bulgaria where he played for an underground mass audience.
Soon after the parties there was a need for Camouflage to establish a better connection with his new found knowledge in the Chicago House Scene. Camouflage then began to blog together ways to widen the Chicago House movement, which lead to the creation to Chicago House FM. A Station based on purely promoting the positive sound of House Music. The station has been growing in support and it helping in aiding those DJ’s with the same message to have their chance to project the same image though there personalities. Ideally that is the basis of house, not to create a lifestyle but actively shape your lifestyle to be the best you can be.

Mes: Love toms programming track and the Damien's remix....whooot!Nice wun fellas! Your on a roll:)
Andy Toka Project/Inland Knights: yeah really cool!.....loving sun city hustlers track...and programming is wicked......definately gonna get plays from me
Giom: Loving the original mix and also Tom's new original tune, programming! Paaaaaaarty!
Gav Littlemen: Love the original and Programming
Ben (Brown/Unpopular) i like all the tracks. my favourites of real thang are the original and toms mix - especially like the rudebwoy b-line and old style beats of the TSI mix.my favourite of the whole release is programming - i think mostly cos of the samples and the way they are arranged. its good fun.
Mike (Kolour): sch's original broke new ground for these guy's sound. it has a nice disco vibe that works really well in the mix. i've been playing it since john sent it moons ago. the mastering on it came out perfect too. really brings the tune to life.damien's remix features more of the vocal and that's never a bad thing as far as i'm concerned. he churned out yet another remix where he takes the original tune and makes it his own. this is definitely something i'll play tom's remix is definitely a departure from the other two versions. he adds a level of filth to it that contrasts the dynamic of the EP just enough to give it that 'something for everyone' feel.
Quell: I LOVED Damien's old/new school remix and the original version of that track and i really like Toms 'programming' track.
Strakes (Lost My Dog): Original mix of Real Thang is sounding good – r
