San Francisco Bay Area native DJ CAMS has come a long way from recording mixtapes off the radio as a kid and from playing the cello in his high school orchestra. Following the start of his professional DJ career back in 2005, CAMS rapidly proved himself one of San Francisco’s most talented, and quickly rose to work alongside the city’s top promoters and artists. He currently tenders residencies at some of its hottest venues including 330 Ritch, The Ambassador, Infusion Lounge, Vessel, 4Fourteen inside Ruby Skye, and Mr. Smith’s.
In the past two years, CAMS has brought his DJ talents to LA, spinning at exclusive parties in Malibu, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and Hollywood. He's also amassed one of the hottest record collections in the game, in part by authoring the well-followed and respected music blog: DJ CAM$$$$ (dj-cams.com).
Outside of the club, CAMS has electrified dance floors for corporate clients such as Thrillist, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Oracle, The Ritz-Carlton, and Harrah’s, has produced music for fashion shows, has spun beats on the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe, and been featured on TV. Last summer CAMS opened for internationally renowned deejay BT at the LF Stores summer fashion show, finished off the 2007 winter season as the official DJ of Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort (home of Olympic gold medalist snowboarder Hannah Teter), and was featured spinning live on CBS-TV for the station’s news segment on “Celebrity DJ’s.”
