Influences
when i was growing up, i listened to alot of metal, bands like testament and the accused...
i was always looking for a new sound and loved to find new artist to listen to and loved the lyrics...ministry, nin, white zombie, and prodigy, where the first electronic bands i came to love.....and from there on i started to explore deeper into electronic sound...
as i got older i still loved heavy metal, thrash and industrial, but also explored other realms such as electronica,
for many years i explored the sounds of the rave scene, as i break danced and freestyled in the under ground the sounds that expanded my mind were, trance, techno. house, breaks, hardcore, hard style, noise, dub, trip hop, anti hiphop, old school hiphop, reggae, trungle, synth pop, new wave,minimal, gabber, electro, happy hardcore, jungle,turntablelism, and drum and bass , experimental, and ambient as well psychadelic trance( which has many chatagories of its own)....i love many aspects of diffent music and scenes, ....but as the years progressed i realised its awsome to have all the styles united....thats how it was...thats what i thought...but over the past few years it has all changed..i dont dislike any style.....i think the thing the ruined alot of scenes was the people....the mother fuckers who corrupted underground music and gave the under ground a bad name causing the media to give electronic music a bad name and therefore now all music styles are seperated.....i fucking hate it... i dislike the mother fuckers who disrespect eachothers styles of music....and think the one style they play is the shit..lol...wake up people....a true dj plays any and if at all all styles...i never say no to a gig.....and give your respects to the producers out there...
so i guess u i can call myself a true dj....so i hope you book me....for my art and music.......im also currently producing...
vinyl is the ultimate tool to learn, but its not all about showing off, its more about how can you make them dance their ass off....choose your weapon...laptop, cd js, live electronics, turntables, ect ect.....doesnt techno stand for technology????
